Matthew Leduc : Director of Sales & Marketing

Matt brings a depth of marine experience to LRSE. He is an experienced mariner, who after graduating from Mass Maritime, embarked on a career in marine sales that has lasted almost 15 years. He’s held sales and project management positions at a marine system company, where he designed high-end electronics and electrical systems for power and sailboats of all sizes. While at LRSE , the first time around, he ensured the safety systems on boats were in compliance with US Coast Guard regulations and sufficient for his customer’s standards. He has worked and studied marine surveying specializing in structure and systems analysis. He most recently worked as a yacht broker in Bristol, RI and grew a small office into a great producer for a large sailboat and powerboat manufacturer. Now back at LRSE, as the Director of Sales and Marketing, he leads an experienced sales crew and looks to position LRSE future growth as a leader in the marine safety industry. Matt holds a BS from Mass Maritime in Marine Transportation, holds certification from the US Coast Guard, (3rd Mate Unlimited Tonnage, Ocean), has traversed the Atlantic 4 times, Cruised the Med, weathered the North Atlantic and crossed the equator. Matt lives in Portsmouth, RI with his wife, Katherine, and their two kids, Zachary and Sophie.
